Unfortunately I couldn’t play tonight, but it was great to watch some great bowls and some really skilled shots or some may call them real a#*@! Shots.

Tuesday 29^th Jan 2019 saw the second half of the season start with round 6 played against Hampton RSL.  It was a close game all night with 2 rinks up and a win to Edithvale.

Our game was played at Chelsea with a slight cool breeze, much to the relief of the players who had played pennant that day.

Greg’s rink with Kaye, Ann and Peter had a great battle with a lead that changed a couple of times but Edithvale took control of the game and won on the night by 4 shots.

Bobby’s rink with Shellie, Sally and Craig, started strongly and played well, holding onto the lead all night.  The opposition came close, but our players fought back to win by 3 shots.

Alan, Ant, Pauline and Rod battled all night with many ends holding shot until the opposition 3^rd or skip taking our bowls out.  When our players won an end it was mostly by 1 shot.  Sadly they lost by a single shot.

Thanks to our fill in players Alan Cousens, Ant Cameron and Peter Sale for helping out on the night.  Edithvale won overall by 6 shots.
