Mornington Peninsula Post Season Competition
Mornington Peninsula Bowls Region – Women’s Post Season Competition:-
Edithvale entered two teams in this post competition season which comprised of six players per team playing five rounds and a grand final. Other Clubs playing were Karingal, Somerville, Mornington Civic and Chelsea.
The last game was played at Edithvale and we thank the members who came along to watch and help serve afternoon tea. I believe it was quite a spread.
Well done ladies and hopefully we may get to play (depending on when Metropolitan Pennant starts) in the next season to be run (MAYBE) in September.
At the end of the short season, Edithvale Blue was second on the ladder in the North Section. They played against Karingal in the Grand Final at Mornington on Tuesday 25th May and went down by 5 shots (38-33). Our ladies played against clubs that they normally don’t play against during pennant season and enjoyed the competition. Well Done to all players.
