The Edithvale Winter Bowls Tournament
Rd.1 of 4, was played today (27 Jun ’20) in brilliant sunshine.
Winner on the day was Claire Baskett, who over 2 games of 10 ends, managed 21 shots, second was Roger Selwood with 20 shots, just 1 clear of Gordon, Glen and Sally.
A well organised day, courtesy of Diane Cameron and Glenys Gionis. See you all next week, but please remember, if you can’t make it, “you” need to find a replacement.
Rd. 2 of 4, was played on 4 Jul ’20 in freezing, dampish conditions. We probably reached a “high” of 9 degrees. (Gee, we are tough!)
Winner on the day was Sally with 14 & 14 for +28. Sally is also the scoreboard leader on +47.
Equal seconds were Rosemary Grace 7 & 16 for +23 and Jan Collins 9 & 14 for +23.
