Our Edithvale men were represented very well this weekend in the VIC OPEN Singles

John P // Craig J and Craig W.

John \ played admirably but with only one win in Sectionals did not advance.

Craig J and Craig W both had two wins and advanced from Sectionals to Finals Knockouts today.

Craig J played at Newborough against Cooper K from Frankston BC going down 21 to 15.

Craig W won his first round against Heatmont’s Russell H21  – 19 then went onto the second round of Singles defeating Timothy G from Berwick 21 – 19 to advance to the last 32!!  Then Craig had to drive from Moe to Morwell and play Tyson C from Ocean Grove and at one stage led 15 to 10 but Tyson dug in and eventually prevailed to win 21 to 18
